Somersaults

Jaxon loves to do somersaults. He totally surprised me one day, when he said look mom, and he did a perfect somersault. It was hilarious.

Too Much Fun!

So today is Friday and it has been the best day with my boys ever! We seriously haven't done anything, except for one load of laudry. We have been playing games all day, slap jack, monopoly, bikes everything. The boys have been so fun, laughing at each other, wrestling(well Jax wrestling me and Jake) Just chillin! I just love being a mom it is so much fun. Its those hard days that seem like they will never end, but they pass and its days like this that stand out in my heart forever. Life couldn't be better.

Our First Snowman

We made this snowman at 7am, Jaxon was so excited about the snow. When he saw all of it he said to me, "Mom lets play snowballs!"

CALL SANTA

So I was shopping in St. George with the boys and we were at Costco. We went down the toy aisle and Jax kept saying, I want that and this. Then we came to the trackhoe! Mom, I want that. So I said maybe Santa will get it for you. We ended that aisle and he wanted to see it again, so we went down the aisle again. We got to the trackhoe and I said the same thing, then Jaxon said, "Mom call Santa" I said lets write him a letter and you can ask him for a trackhoe but he was not having it. "Call Santa mom!" So I dialed a random number and asked for Santa. I told Santa that Jaxon would like a trackhoe for Christmas and he said if he was a good boy, he would bring one. Ever since that day when we see or talk about Santa, Jaxon says, "Santa bring me trackhoe!" I just thought it really couldn't get any better than that. How sincere and innocent!
I LOVE CHRISTMAS TIME!!!

More from Hawaii...

Oh yeah and we hit the Luau too!

Heavenly HAWAII

For Turkey day this year we went with my family to Maui! I can't even describe how great it was and how much I needed some relaxation. We were on the beach everyday taking in the sunshine and beauty. Jaxon loved to dig in the sand, was a little timid of the waves but liked them in the end. Jake was all for everything, waves, sand(he ate tons of it, I just quit trying after the first day), food etc... We were able to see the volcano, we snorkeled and saw turtles and lots of fish, we went to the Maui Ocean center and saw sharks (those and the turtles were Jaxon's favorite). My family went to Lanai one day and the Road to Hana another but the kids were too small for the boat ride and snorkel and Jax, Jake and I all get really carsick, we were lucky to make it to the volcano with only one incident. Overall it was amazing and we had a great time. You all need to go!

Aloha!!!

Dino Park

We went to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden in Sept. and my mom just gave me these pics. Jaxon had a blast! He was a little scared at first of the skeletons until I told him it was a t-rex and he was afraid of the noises they make until I told him they were just saying Hi! It was so fun to see his facial expressions. Good times!

Boys will be Boys!

So I came home one morning at 7am from swimming to find all three boys in bed watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, it was beyond cute! They all just smiled and kept watching.
I walked into the front room this afternoon to find Jaxon wrestling 7mo. old Jake and they were both having a great time. Boys will be boys I suppose. I guess as long as everyone is having fun and there are no tears. We will have lots of wrestling to come I'm sure

Kokopelli Tri

This was it for the Kokopelli Tri. I was so pumped to do it. We were waiting in the water forever and then right as we start swimming, it starts to pour and we finally get to the finish and they cancelled it. I was bummed, but at least I was able to experience the swim and what it is like. There were so many girls in our heat! I was literally on top of people the whole swim. People were kicking me, I was kicking them. It was pretty intense. I am really excited to do the one in May.

THE BIG ONE

Jeff bought a landowners tag in Nevada this year. And I was so happy when he finally got this one. The only problem is now he is addicted to the "Big Ones" and now he'll have to go every year. But we are glad he got one.

Jaxon, was pretty excited to see the deer. He said "nice buck daddy, a big one" It was pretty funny!

Chowin

These three were so funny yesterday! They were all going nuts on bikes, driving through the water for like 20 minutes without stopping. When all of a sudden, Jax found 3 apples. They all stopped picked up an apple, lined up and started chowing!

Rainbow bridge

This is at Rainbow Bridge, it was the boys and my first trip there and it was a scorcher!

Jaxon wakeboarding

You can barely see this, I wish I could zoom in but Jax took his first wakeboard ride with Jeff. He held on so tight Jeff made him let go of the rope because he was afraid if he fell Jax wouldn't let go.

Jake was all about the lake this trip. He fell asleep while bouncing and watching everyone swim. So funny

Echo Triathlon

Jeff did his first triathlon at Echo Res. These pics are just a few of all that we have. He did so great, he finished in 1hour and 40minutes. It was fun to watch, pretty intense.

Jake

This is Jakob Milton Burgess, he is 5months old. He was born on March 14th and is getting big fast. He is rolling over now and just starting to try and scoot. He is already demanding and he knows what he wants and likes. He loves food and has from like 3months old. Anything anyone eats, he thinks he should get a bite too. He loves his big brother Jaxon definitely! He keeps us on our toes

Jaxon

This is Jaxon Jeffrey Burgess. He is two years old as of July 21st. And to say the least he is a people person. Jaxon loves anyone and everyone, as long as there is someone to play with. As of now, Jaxon is really into cars and plays with them everyday all day. Some of his favorite things are: popsicles, cars, people, his brother Jake, singing songs, "goin to work"( he takes his trike and puts on mom's helmet). Lately his favorite sayings are: whatchya doin, who's that, come play mom/dad.

Jeff and Melina Burgess Family

Well, we are trying out the blog thing, we're a little late in the times but trying to get hip. This is our family. Jeff and I have been married for four years now as of July 31st. We have two cute boys. The oldest is Jaxon Jeffrey Burgess he is two and the youngest is Jakob Milton Burgess (he'll hate us for that middle name later). We are living in Cedar City, Jeff is working hard with his family in our business adventures and I am happy being a mom (it does have its moments however. :)
